Biography

Dr. Linantud teaches Political Science (POLS) 2305; Federal Government, POLS 2306: Texas Government, POLS 3308: Introduction to World Politics, POLS 4308: East and Southeast Asia, POLS 4309: Dictatorship and Democracy in the Developing World, POLS 4312: Dictatorship and Democracy in Europe, Russia, and the United States, POLS 4322: Politics of the Americas, POLS 4399: Political Science Capstone, and Social Science 4301: Special Projects. He has assigned statecraftsims.com to world politics classes since 2013 and recommends Statecraft to anyone interested in unconventional assignments. Experience Qualifications

Dr. Linantud has been teaching political science since January 1997. He received a Ph.D. from Arizona State in 2000, and began work at UHD in 2002. Linantud has published articles, book reviews, and political risk essays in journals such as Contemporary Southeast Asia, Geopolitics, The International Journal of Heritage Studies, International Perspectives IQ, and The International Social Science Review. In support of his teaching responsibilities, he has recently traveled to Cuba, Israel, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of China.
