This Veterans Day, Martin Navarro, Assistant Director of Veterans Services, would like the UHD community to know that the Veterans Service Office of UHD has diligently worked towards building UHD as a military friendly institution. From reviving the Student Veteran organization from zero to 25 members in this semester alone, to organizing the first veterans resource fair, the veterans service office is lifting the voices of Gator veterans.
Navarro says the Veterans Services Office has many more aspirations to further contribute to the success of veteran students at UHD by implementing additional resources outside of education that veteran students need to aid them in their studies and livelihood.
He went on to say that, at UHD, he and his office strive to lead the example in higher learning for veteran students and their families!
