What is Chemistry?

The Bachelor of Science degree explores identification of the substances of which matter is composed; the investigation of their properties and the ways in which they interact, combine, and change; and the use of these processes to form new substances. Students develop scientific reasoning, acquire research and laboratory skills common to modern laboratories, and effectively communicate scientific information in writing and oral presentations.
