Accessible Education Center at the University of Houston-Downtown is committed to student success. In alignment with the University’s overall efforts, the Accessible Education Center strives to empower students, foster independence, and improve academic achievement and career development.
Our staff, along the UHD community, helps students to discover, develop, and reach their full academic potential and abilities.
Academic Adjustments and Services
The Accessible Education Center provides accommodations, academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aids and services to UHD students who have temporary or permanent health impairments, physical limitations, psychological disorders, or learning disabilities. The Accessible Education Center staff members serve as liaisons between students and faculty, administrators, and community agencies.
