Honors Program
The Department of Natural Sciences offers an honors program to enhance the educational experience of talented students at UHD. Encouraging in-depth study, this program provides an area of natural science coupled with a research project culminating in a written thesis and a seminar presentation to the faculty and students. Transcripts of students successfully completing this program will show the students as graduates of the Department of Natural Sciences Honors Program.
Students, who are interested, should contact Robin Jose, Ph.D. before they have completed
60 hours of university-level work, and have a 3.25 GPA in science courses. Note: Students
must have 16 hours in science, eight of which must have been taken at UHD. For more
details on admission and program requirements, please view the Senior Honors Thesis
Handbook or contact Robin Jose, Ph.D., Honors Program Coordinator. Here are useful
