Recording Process

Don't let the process below scare you off of making awesome videos. We are here to help you throughout.

1. Creative Discovery
   First things first: Meet with us Face-to-Face or via Zoom to identify the purpose of the video, your needs, discuss timeline of deliverables, and outline the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved. We have access to various tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Getty Images, Video Scribe) to bring life to your content. Tell us how you envision the final product, and we will make it happen!
   
   
2.  Pre-Production
   Here is where you create the script! Don't be intimated by this stage of the process, we can help you! As you are writing your script, be mindful of its length: it takes 1 minute to read 130-150 words and 3.5 minutes to read 500 words. Also, imagine the impact you want the video to create. For example, what photographs, graphics, animations, or music do you want to incorporate into the video to create that impact?
   
   
3. Production
   Save yourself a trip up the hill. We have an in-house videographer and a studio with chroma screen (green screen) technology, HD Camera, audio equipment, lighting, and a teleprompter.
   
   
4. Post Production
   Here is where all the magic happens. In post-production, the video footage is edited and combined with photographs, backgrounds, music, and motion graphics to produce the final product.
   
   
5. Review & Delivery
   You will get to review the final product and provide feedback. If the product is to your liking, we will provide you with the mp4 file. From there, you can embed the video(s) directly into Canvas.
