Baseball Club

The University of Houston-Downtown baseball club team competes in area and national baseball conferences. The team competes against other collegiate club teams in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) Division II Rocky Lone Star South Region. The conference season is usually February through April. The team won their first ever conference championship in the NCBA Division II Rocky Lock Star Region - South in 2019.

*Tryout Period: Jan. 9 - Jan. 18
Tryout/Practice Dates: Tues. & Thurs. 2pm-4pm
Location: Schwartz Park
Games: Weekend double headers and games
Registration: Register online for spring 2024 tryouts
*All interested students must register online prior to interest meetings and attending tryouts

Eligibility Requirements
•Must be a current UHD student
•Must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) hours at UHD for fall semester
•Must be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) hours at UHD for spring semester
•Must meet all NCBA Eligibility Requirements
•Must be in good academic standing at UHD
•Must possess good baseball skills
•Must be dedicated to attend all team practices, games, and events
•Must pay a membership fee immediately upon making the team
