Career Ladder Program

Providing our staff career opportunities and advancements is a priority at UHD. Through the UHD Career Ladder Program, employees receive a clear path on how they can advance their career goals and move to a higher-level job within their department, division or the University.1  Three types of vertical career ladders exist to ensure each staff position at UHD has a clear path for upward mobility - Pre-Defined Career Ladders, In-Range Career Ladders and Individualized Career Ladders.

1 Promotion/position reclassification through the Career Ladder Program is not guaranteed for any staff employee and is dependent upon guidelines for eligibility, documented department need and funding availability.
