Job Summary

The Director of Campus Solution Services provides oversight and direction in developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications for the Enrollment Management (EM) division. Responsible for documenting, testing, and helping/supporting all software applications used in EM and monitoring systems reviews to verify compliance with policies and institution standards.

Duties

  • Analyzes complex software application processes and data structures; identifies and provides support for reported software problems
  • Manages daily operations, functionality, and compliance of various software applications solutions with the Enrollment Management division
  • Defines, analyzes, and documents business processes, practices, and requirements for software application systems.
  • Develops and manages software applications, reviews the calendar for the Enrollment Management division
  • Delegates assignments and provides leadership to functional team for the development, and implementation of software applications modules and modifications requested by department leads
  • Responsible for the development and enforcement of standards, policies, and procedures dealing with software applications compliance for the Enrollment Management division
  • Provides software applications compliance guidance to department leads and senior management to identify possible software initiatives
  • Evaluates and manages third-party software solutions to ensure optimal integration to enhance staff, faculty, and student experience
  • Oversees preliminary/cursory testing for implementations, upgrades, and requirements for software application systems
  • Oversees and supports the Campus Solution Services (CSS) team, reviewing performance and productivity; addresses challenges identified by the CSS team via email, phone, or meetings with other departments

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information systems or a related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related job experience

License/Certification:

  • None required

  • Master's degree

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the higher education environment;
  • General knowledge of modules and data interaction; basic understanding of project planning
