Job Summary

The Manager, Projects, Compliance & Communications initiates and manages multiple projects with many degrees of complexity, from onset to close, to achieve project goals and outcome. The Manager assesses, analyzes, researches, plans, and collaborates with relevant stakeholders on Compliance initiatives. The Manager develops, writes and edits all written public-facing HR communications, including website, executive, social media, blog, newsletter and video content.

Duties

  • Manages complex HR projects, including developing and maintaining project timelines.
  • Develops planning documents and coordinates meetings with stakeholders during the initiation of projects
  • Manages the division's institutional compliance and assessment and accreditation reporting
  • Oversees and manages the UHD policy review process from start to finish.
  • Writes HR communications to include the blog, employee newsletter, manager newsletter, website, executive communications, social media and video content.
  • Works with relevant stakeholders to develop communication strategy and campaigns.
  • Manages the creation of division graphic design materials.
  • Leads the research, assessment, collaboration and planning of employee engagement initiatives with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related job experience

License/Certification:

  • None Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR or internal communications experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of best practices for producing a wide variety of media internal communications assets

Skills:

  • Good technical skills, including graphic design skills
  • Strong writing, editing and problem

Abilities:

  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:

  • Works in an office environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements Individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks. Must have precise hand-eye coordination, good spatial awareness, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors. Must have the ability to move items of up to 25lbs.
