Job Summary

The Network Application Specialist I analyzes, recommends, implements, and supports major network based applications, and supports Information Technology implementations.

Duties

  • Installs and supports network based applications.
  • Upgrades and maintains network-based application systems.
  • Performs business process reviews and identifies opportunities to automate processes.
  • Researches and recommends network-based applications.
  • Provides technical support as required.
  • Manages and serves as a project lead on network-based projects.
  • Coordinates project activities with Information Technology groups and users.
  • Provides documentation and training for user departments

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Associate's degree, vocational certificate, or 60 hours of college course work

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related job experience

License/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:

  • Works in an office environment, classroom, training room, and auditorium.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements
  • Individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks.
  • Must have clarity of vision and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
