MDCOB Sponsors 2022 Lunar New Year Festival
The Marilyn Davies College of Business participated in the 2022 Lunar New Year Festival as a sponsor.
The Chinese Community Center is a multi-ethnic organization serving all Houstonians.
They serve diverse cultures, diverse generations, and diverse needs. Their mission
is to bridge East and West by enriching families with educational, cultural, and social
service programs. The Chinese Community Center’s 2022 Lunar New Year Festival was
a free event held outside the Chinese Community Center. They recommended that all
guests on-site wear a mask to maintain a safe experience. The festival hosted a series
of exciting Asian Heritage seasonal programs that highlighted the culinary delights,
artistic wonders, and ancient traditions of Asian cultures. Some of the performances
held included a Dragon Dance and a Lion Dance.
