Use of Computing Resources by UHD Alumni

This document outlines resources available to UHD Alumni and rules they must abide by for continue use of these resources.

Information Technology provides the following services to UHD alumni:

• Temporary alumni account that provides access to the Academic Computing Labs. This account can be obtained in any of the Academic Computing Lab service desk locations.
• Alumni may add printing funds to the assigned temporary alumni account for all printing needs. Funds are added via the cashier or the print kiosk located in room S800, One Main Building.
• Alumni may access the wireless network on campus using the temporary alumni account.

Priority access to computing resources will be given to currently enrolled students, faculty and staff of the University of Houston-Downtown. To ensure the adequate availability of computing resources to the University community, Information Technology reserves the right to deny, limit, or defer access to computing resources as necessary.

Computers and resources in academic computing facilities are not to be used for business or other profit-producing endeavors, or for recreational purposes. Games are prohibited on all academic computing resources. All computer usage may be subject to security testing and monitoring; the user should have no expectation of privacy regarding any information contained on UHD computing resources.

Alumni are required to abide by the Computer Access, Security, and Use Policy.
