MARC New Graduate Student Scholarship
This is a competitive scholarship and the recipients will be determined by the quality of the essay and prior undergraduate and/or graduate GPA (if applicable). This award is restricted to expenses associated with credit bearing coursework at UHD, including tuition, books, fees, and/or supplies in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Award Amount: $2,000
Application Deadline: Sept. 3, 2024
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
- Have applied for admission into the MARC program for the Spring 2024, Summer 2024, or Fall 2024 semester
- Have a prior undergraduate and/or graduate GPA (if applicable) of 3.0+
- Have completed less than 6 semester credit hours in MARC program prior to the start of the fall 2024 semester
- Be registered for at least 3 semester credit hours in the MARC program for the fall 2024 semester
- Apply by Sept 3, 2024

This is a competitive scholarship and the recipients will be determined by the quality of the essay and their UHD Graduate GPA. This award is restricted to expenses associated with credit bearing coursework at UHD, including tuition, books, fees, and/or supplies in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Award Amount: $2,000
Application Deadline: Sept 3, 2024
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
- Be a continuing graduate student with at least 6 semester credit hours completed in a UHD CHSS certificate or master’s program
- Have a UHD Graduate GPA of 3.0+ and be in good academic and financial standing at the university
- Be enrolled in the MARC program for the fall 2024 semester
- Be registered for at least 3 semester credit hours in the MARC program for the fall 2024 semester
- Apply by Sept. 3 2024
