Event Parking
Summit attendees are responsible for the cost of parking.
Note: UHD offers two-types of self-paid parking for summit attendees:
- City of Houston’s metered parking lot under I-10 (located across Girard Street). You
pay meter upon arrival.
- UHD Daly Street Parking located at 501 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77002. If you select this option, you must purchase a visitor/guest parking pass. Please note: parking passes will not be available on-site and must be purchased in advance. Below are the instructions to purchase the visitor-guest parking day passes for the UHD Daly Street Parking Lot:
Step 1: Go to Parking & Transportation Services parking portal.
Step 2: Select Login (upper right corner)
Step 3: Scroll down, select Guest Login
Step 4: On Guest Login page, select Create One
Step 5: Complete Guest User Registration information
Step 6: From Home Page, scroll down to PERMITS, click Get Permits
Step 7: Follow prompts to ordering a permit.
Step 8: Print out VISITOR/GUEST Parking Day Pass. Place on dashboard.
Parking permit is not valid for the Visitor Garage.
Take the Bayou Express shuttle to the One Main Building, drop-off on Girard Street. Take the elevators to 3rd floor and follow the signs to the summit check-in area.
There are two shuttle routes:

- Bayou Express - from the Daly Street Lot to the One Main Building, drop-off on Girard Street, and back to the Daly St. Lot
- Gator Line - from the Daly Street Lot to Commerce Street Building (drop-off on the corner of San Jacinto Street and Commerce Street), to the One Main Building, and back to the Daly St. Lot
- Shuttle buses run approximately 10 - 15 minutes between routes, depending on traffic.
