Faculty/Staff Information & Updates
All faculty, staff, and students parking on UHD property must register their vehicles through the Parking Office and display a valid parking permit. A parking permit signifies an individual has been granted the privilege of parking on university property. Ownership of the permit remains with the University. The permit is only transferable between vehicles and NOT between individuals. The registered permit holder is responsible for any parking citation issued to a vehicle displaying their parking permit.

All vehicles must have a valid UHD parking permit when parked on university property. Please visit our General Rules and Regulations page for more information.
Assigned parking areas are displayed with color-coded columns.
- Blue Columns: Academic Bldg. Garage (P1 & P2) will be for unreserved parking for Staff and Faculty all hours, all days. However, Faculty should not park on P2 unless the faculty area on P3 Girard Street bldg. garage is full.
- Red Columns: Academic Bldg. Garage (P3) Reserved Parking Permit required, Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. Vehicles parked in this area other than allowed by the reserved parking permit holder during enforced parking times will be cited for parking in an unassigned area.
- Green Columns: Girard Street Bldg. Garage-P3 (through second set of gates) unreserved parking for Faculty, Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- Fridays only, Staff may park in the interior rows only. Faculty-only parking is identified with posted signage.
- Naylor Street Lot.
- Daly Street.
- Washington Street.
